Science on the Fly
Started here in Telluride by Troy Youngfleish, co-owner of Telluride Outside, and Max Holmes of the Woodwell Climate Change Research Center, Science on the Fly tests river chemistry on more than 200 rivers on 5 continents to evaluate the need for policy change to benefit water quality, fish habitat and climate-sensitive watershed conditions.  Science on the Fly is now managed by Allie Cunningham, longtime local, friend and former Telluride Outside staff person.
